At DLS we retrofitted a yard tractor with an Effenco hybrid system. The electric system provides the energy when the tractor is stationary. The tractor can do the same amount of work, but emits fewer emissions (CO2 and NOX) and consumes less fuel. This allows cleaner work with the same equipment, without adjustments to the infrastructure and at a relatively low investment.
